Skywatch Friday

Walking home from the park last week.

Earlier this week, the highlight was the combination of a crescent moon, Venus and Jupiter making a smiley face in the sky. I couldn't get a shot, but many others did.
More great skies at the Skywatch Site.

I didn't get a shot of Jupiter, Venus and the moon either! The good news is it will happen again in 2052. The bad news is I probably won't be here to see it. ;-)

Same here I didn't get that shot. Was all cooped up inside the house doing some chores.

This shot is very nice. Love the clouds.

Ah you were out photographing the same sky at about the same time. Nice shot. I missed the great smiley face as well. Just stood there in awe gawping instead of heading for my camera.

Lovely. I didn't get a decent shot of Jupiter though I tried, oblivious at the time to what it was I was trying to get or I might have tried harder.

Wonderful picture!
I didn't get a shot of Jupiter, Venus and the moon either. I was at work and had no camera. But I see it, very dramatic by us, surrounded from clouds.
